Experience the beauty of a sunset over the Ganges and a sunrise over the Himalayas. Enjoy a morning yoga session, then climb from Atali to a high point overlooking Byasi and descend to one of the most beautiful mango trees you would see meeting the Majhali trail and continuing past the village and down to the road. Enjoy a peaceful night of rest after an unforgettable day… Before you are met and chauffeured back to your lodge for a good night’s rest.
Walk on the left bank of the river, the quieter part of Rishikesh. Visit the Beatles Ashram followed a walk across the Ram Jhula in the evening to explore the town and witness a sunset Aarti ceremony before driving back a little over an hour for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Let the day begin with morning yoga and then enjoy a walk through the protected forest of Atali. The road to the forest is lined with coconut palms, giving the area a tropical feel. After passing through the ruins of old Atali, you’ll then arrive at a viewpoint from which you can see the Ganga valley below.

Enjoy a relaxed start to the day, a morning yoga session and later a short hike to visit the local school (the Sirasu Village hike follows the Ganges river) with some donation pencils that are always welcome. Start with a short drive from Atali to the Malakunti bridge across the River Ganga, where this beautiful hike commences.
Make the most of your time in the village of Sirasu, located on a small plateau perched above the river. Walk through this enchanting village before descending down to the Sirasu bridge, where a vehicle awaits on the other side for the fifteen-minute drive back to the resort.
Departure has arrived and it’s time to say goodbye. Your last breakfast will be served on the porch of our idyllic retreat, before we whisk you away back to Delhi where you can begin your journey home.

The Ganges is a class two and three pool and drop river with some big wave trains especially in the high water months of October and November when this river pushes though the post monsoon volume of flow. This itinerary includes everything from starting your day with Yoga to hiking and seeing Himalayan vistas with lots of culturally inspiring opportunities and sights especially if you venture out on a full days hike with your guide that can also be arranged. Besides there’s lot’s to do within your lodge itself, which also has a pool with a great view of the foothills of the Himalayas.
