Nepal is a wonderful country to visit, and the best time to visit is between October and December. The skies are clear blue, the views spectacular, and the weather dry until about April. Temperatures vary between regions—but on average, January and February can be very cold, especially at night.
Day 1 | Fly to Kathmandu: Arrive to a warm welcome at Kathmandu international airport where you are met by your attentive local guided and chauffeured to your hotel. Later enjoy a delicious and traditional welcome dinner with your hosts.
Day 2 | Explore Bhaktapur: Enjoy a full day’s guided sightseeing, historic sights exploring Bhaktapur that is located on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Dine of delicious Nepali lunch in a traditional restaurant and be guided through the iconic sights of this ancient kingdom.
Day 3 | Journey to Nepalgunj: Take a short flight after breakfast to south western Nepal and explore the prolific forest of western Nepal with seasoned naturalists and an ideally set Karnali lodge where you will receive a warm welcome. Enjoy a wildlife safari in the evening and end your day with a refreshing shower and a delicious dinner which is included in your meal plan.
Day 4 | Enjoy tracking rare wildlife and birds in Nepal’s Royal Bardiya National Park: On our final day in Bhutan, we trek to Enjoy a morning and evening safari in Nepal’s Royal Bardiya national park and witness rare wildlife and birds that are found no where else.

Day 8 | Fly to Pokhara: We invite you to experience a truly unique journey, one that takes you from the bustling city of Kathmandu to the serene and picturesque town of Pokhara. We’ll start the day by enjoying a delicious breakfast at tiger Tops Karnali LOdge. After breakfast, we’ll head to the domestic airport (3 hrs drive) and fly to Pokhara. We’ll check into our hotel, then head out for some sightseeing. Our first stop will be World Peace Stupa, which dates back to the 8th century. There’s also a Siddha cave where Tibetan Buddhist monks lived and meditated for centuries. Then we’ll visit David Falls—an incredible sight that is visited by thousands of tourists every year.
After visiting these sites, we’ll head back to our hotel for some rest and relaxation before heading out again for dinner at The Potala Palace Restaurant (the only restaurant in Pokhara that serves authentic Nepali cuisine). Our evening will be spent exploring the area around our hotel, stopping at any sights along the way that catch your fancy until bedtime arrives!
Day 9 | Explore Pokhara: You’re going to be blown away by Pokhara. You’ll wake up in your spacious guesthouse, where you’ll be greeted by the friendly faces of locals and enjoy a delicious breakfast before driving to Phedi. Once there, you’ll start your hiking journey at Phedi and head up to Dhampus, where you can check into your guesthouse which is in Dhampus – a beautiful Gurung village from where series of Himalaya can be seen. It is surrounded by mountains and has many small hotels, cafes and restaurants. The locals are very friendly and hospitable, so if you’re looking for a good time on the mountain side with great food this is the place to be! After exploring Dhampus and enjoying dinner at one of its many cafes, enjoy some time relaxing in your hotel room before bedtime.
Day 10 | Fly back to Kathmandu: Breakfast is an important part of your day. After a morning filled with Nepalese dishes, you’ll head to the domestic airport for a flight back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive, you’ll check into your hotel and then head to the Nepali Cooking Class at Hotel Green Eco Resort in Kirtipiur. The class will teach you how to cook a set meal (rice, dal soup, vegetable, pickle and chicken) for dinner tonight. This will be a great way to relax after your busy day!
Day 11 | Fly back home: We hope you’ve enjoyed your stay in Nepal!
After breakfast, we’ll transfer to the hotel for final departure and a quick check-in before we head home. Your flight will be departing from Tribhuvan International Airport at noon, so please keep an eye out for our driver who will be waiting outside to escort you to the airport.
