Transformative Travel also requires you to have the necessary documentation for your journey. Starting from understanding, and accepting that obtaining the necessary documentation for travel such as a passport (valid for at least six (6) months before international departure(s)), ***a valid visa / eVisa (where applicable), required Covid testing before and after your journey if required, vaccination certificate where required as well as any travel forms that are required to be completed. It is also important to go over the details in your ticket(s) to make sure that all the details including that the spelling of your name is correct. It is completely the responsibility of the traveler/participant to review all documents for accuracy.
Baggage Policies might vary from one journey to the other. And while you may be allowed to carry a significant allowance internationally, you may not be allowed to carry the same domestically. Hence it is the responsibility of the participant to check these policies before departure.
Transformative Travel LLC. strongly recommends trip-cancellation, health as well as accidental insurance that is available at an additional cost. Please contact us for more details. Transformative Travel LLC has a strict no cancellation policy, and does not offer refunds for the same, hence it is up to the traveler to secure insurance in case cancellation is necessary.
As a large majority of our package tours involve multiple operators, complicated logistics, and often accompanying hosts, payments to secure the same involves sending our advance deposits to service suppliers located locally, nationally and internationally such as airlines, transportation providers, lodges/hotels, ground operators as well as other service providers, independent contractors and travel tribe hosts who are not the employees or agents of Transformative Travel, therefore Transformative Travel has no jurisdiction.
A lot of our smaller group departures and species-oriented adventures have a very small window that local operators rely on for the entire year, hence making cancellation requests difficult.
In many cases receiving refunds to United States is very difficult, and can involve money getting lost in transferring funds, and becomes very time consuming for us. Hence, it is highly recommended that you purchase trip cancellation insurance as all deposits/final payments are non-refundable. In the case of a group fixed-date departure, if a participant chooses to cancel, our policy is that IF we (or YOU) are able to refill your spots we can use your payments for the same trip (except a 15% processing fee) as a credit toward your next journey with Transformative Travel LLC.
