This is a slightly fantastical scenario of a kingfisher and a golden Mahseer overlooking the Ramganga River. The work of Vincent Van Gogh influenced how I painted the fish. Tigers prowl below.

Throughout the years, I have spent a lot of time with the Shipibo and Kayapo tribes in the Amazon. I used the clothing and body-painting designs to impart both color and form on these fish. The Rio Figueroa in Chile is one of my favorite rivers to guide on.
