Most safari zones also open anywhere from 3-5 hours. Giving wildlife some space from wildlife tourism during mid-day hours.
  • Hence, early morning are usually the order of the day making the most of the wildlife sightings returning to your lodge for breakfast. Spending the rest of the morning with your seasoned hosts and in-house naturalist exploring the outskirts of the national park, engaging the morning’s bird-count or relaxing in your private space.
  • Afternoon-evening safaris start at about 3-ish, lining-up to enter the national park is not uncommon outside India’s safari parks as your wildlife team ensures you get to explore the best parts of the park based on your sighting-priorities.
  • Unlike most counties India takes it’s National Park laws quite seriously. Given the population of this vast and culturally diverse nation. It has manages to conserve it’s wildlife even outside national parks. All wildlife lodges are hence also situated outside National Parks. Night safaris are neither encouraged nor permitted in most Indian National Parks. In recent times elephant safaris have also been discouraged with strict caps on the number of vehicles that enter a given forest-zone.
