Currently a PCR test is not required for vaccinated travelers coming into Nepal. They just need to show the completed CCMC form and their vaccination certificate. Visa on arrival is available for both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers but the unvaccinated are required to produce the 72 hour PCR negative report.
Sunday, October 9, 2022: 2 pm, arrive in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu (KTM). You will be met upon arrival by our representative and chauffeured to a centrally located B&B.
Monday, October 10, 2022: Visit the some historic sights of Kathmandu and spend the day in Nepal’s historic capital.
Tuesday, October 11, 2022: Be chauffeured to the airport after breakfast to board your short flight to Nepalgunj. Be met by your guides and journey to the starting point of your float-trip. After a safety briefing begin your float-trip into the heart of this national park.
Wednesday & Thursday, October 12, 13 2022: Spend the next two days exploring the Babai valley, floating roughy 40 miles by raft through the heart of some of Asia’s finest habitat. You’ll be ending each day while being served by an efficient camp-crew.
Friday, October 14, 2022: End your river-journey shortly after lunch and be chauffeured to Tiger Tops for a refreshing hot bath and delicious dinner.
Saturday & Sunday, October 15, 16, 2022: Spend 2-days exploring the park with your seasoned guides for both wildlife as well as angling opportunities.
Monday, October 17, 2022: After a morning safari, journey back to Nepalgunj with your hosts to board your flight back to Kathmandu.
Tuesday, October 18, 2022:Noon: You will be chauffeured back to the airport to board your flight back home.
The Place
Nepal’s specie rich Himalayan foothills and the Terai offer some of the best Golden Mahseer fishing in the world. More specifically the Karnali watershed is probably the mecca for most Nepal bound anglers.

Hosted by Misty Dhillon this exploration follows the Babai river, camping for 3 nights within the national park before spending 3 nights at Tiger Tops, Karnali for wildlife viewing and fishing.
2 nights on arrival and 1 night during departure are spent in Kathmandu.
