Daily Schedule

Drive to your centrally located B&B, The Ledge House in Harpers Ferry. Explore scenic views, rich history, and end the day with a fascinating Ghost Tour.

Suggestions for the day or custom tailor and enjoy at your own pace. 

  • 3 pm: Check in to Ledge House on Henry Clay St. Harpers Ferry (2 night stay included) 
  • 04:00 pm: Visit “The Point”, Footbridge to C&O Canal, that is 0.6 miles from the Ledge House B&B (Closest Parking Lot is at the Amtrak Train Station Parking.) Next take a romantic and intriguing stroll along Virginius Island and enjoy historically rich scenic river views along the Shenandoah River.
  • 6:00 pm: Enjoy dinner at Hamiltons Tavern (not included) (reservations required)  1840. (914 W Washington St, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 p: 304-535-8728). 
  • 7:45 pm – 10:00 pm: Walk to St.Peters Church to meet your guide Rick Garland (Phone: 732-801-0381) for a Ghost Tour from 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm. (included) 

Dive deep into the history of Harpers Ferry with sightseeing, visiting museums, an in depth historic tour in the ideal natural setting of Harpers Ferry.

  • 9:00 am: Breakfast Served at The Ledge House (included). 
  • 10:00 am: Explore museums in “old town” including Industry, John Brown Wax Museum, restoration museum and much more! (self-exploration)  
  • 11:30 am: Lunch @ Battleground Bakery, Cannon Ball Deli or Kelly Farm Kitchen
  • 1:00 pm: Historic Tour will starts from St. Peters Catholic church (included). 
  • 5:15 pm: Dinner @ The Rabbit Hole (reservations required) (included). 
  • 7:00 Back to B&B.

Each suite features a comfy bed, sitting room/area, private bath, and wi-fi. Breakfasts are prepared using local produce, farm fresh organic eggs, and free-range, hormone-free pork.
