Get a warm welcome at the New Delhi International Airport. Our representative will meet you upon clearing customs. Enjoy a short drive to your hotel before settling in for a good night’s rest at New Delhi’s JB Marriott. Ideally set, just 10 minutes from the international and domestic terminal for easy connections. 

Early morning transfer to airport for a 05:55 am flight to Bhopal. (Yay, jetlag!) Arrive by 07:40 am. The drive to the lodge includes a stop and guided tour of a world heritage site, Bhimbetka Caves (witness cave paintings dating back nearly 30,000 years).

Continue drive to Tawa Dam. (Total driving time = 4 hrs) At Tawa Dam board your small boat for the hour and a half journey up the Denwa River. Arrive at the lodge for a late lunch (02:00-02:30 PM). Settle into your cottage. Evening Nature walks around the lodge.

Morning and afternoon jeep safari in the Satpura National Park, 1427 Sq. Km of rugged, mountainous, forested terrain where you can meet the real-life characters of Jungle Book, such as Tigers, Leopards, spotted deer, Indian Bison (Gaur), Wild boar, Wild dog (locally called Dholes), Sloth bear, Blackbuck (unique attraction), Porcupine, Sambhar, Four Horned antelopes (Chowsingha), Otters, Crocodile, Malabar squirrels, Langurs to mention but a few.

Early morning (07:00 a.m) hop on a canoe and paddle your way through the waters of the Denwa river. Return to the lodge for breakfast (09:00 am). Relax until lunch and prep for overnight camp.

Post lunch (02:30 pm) drive (45 Minutes) into the Satpura forest and commence hiking along a forest track (2 Hrs). Retire at a camp in Satpura forest for an overnight stay. 

Morning nature walk. Post breakfast drive back to the gate where the vehicle will be waiting for transfer to Pench National Park. (Packed lunch will be provided for the 5 hr road journey). Arrive at Pench National park and check into exclusive tree houses accommodation that are set in a Jungle Book type setting. 

Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safari in Pench National Park – a wild playground harboring the maximum density of prey animals, chased by an estimated 65 Tigers.

The park is well administered and renowned for its vivid fauna and flora which will make you feel like you are stepping into the pages of The Jungle Book by Sir Rudyard Kipling. The 758 sq. km of scrublands, deciduous forest of Teaks, and many lakes, streams, and Pench River are home to Tigers, Leopards, Wild Dogs, Nilgai, Chinkara, Gaur and is excellent for birding.

Early morning check out from the lodge at 06:30 AM. Cycle through the Pench-Kanha corridor. (Picnic breakfast will be provided during the ride). Post cycling return to the gate where the vehicle will be waiting for transfer to Kanha National Park. (Packed lunch will be provided for the 3.5 hr road journey).

Post-arrival, after a quick wash and change, proceed to Sarekha village market (04:30 p.m). This is an ideal opportunity to engage with locals and experience a slice of their reality as they go about their daily chores and rituals. Return to the lodge by 06:00 PM and enjoy a relaxed evening at your well appointed lodge. 

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris in the park accompanied by a resident naturalist and forest park guide in 4x 4 Jeeps. Kanha Tiger Reserve’s spectacular Sal and Bamboo forest, rolling grasslands, and meandering streams stretch over 1945 sq. km. in the heart of central highlands. This is the original Kipling country so fondly written about in the Jungle Book. The park is the only home to the rare Hard Ground Barasingha found in its large grasslands. Kanha is also home to Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Deer, Ungulates, Lesser Cats, and close to 300 bird species.

Enjoy a morning nature walk with the resident naturalists. Post lunch 4 hr drive to Jabalpur airport for your flight back to New Delhi.

You will be chauffeured back to the International airport to board your flight back home.
