Chukka is the junction of the Ladia and the Mahakali river. It’s not the biggest Mahseer junction you’re probably expecting. Though due to it’s altitude and ideal conditions featuring a section of class 3-4 rapids. This vast valley can offers a productive window that extends longer than some of the upriver beats including Pancheshwar.
It is also becoming increasingly accessible due to a new road that connects these legendary fishing waters. India’s stringent conservation policies also make this location great for bird-watchers as well as Mammal sightings.
